One of the most rewarding aspects of designing and producing our clock kits and plans is hearing from you, our customer.
It means a lot to us to know that you have enjoyed making your wooden gear clock.
We really appreciate it when our customers take the time to share their thoughts with us.
"It would be nice if all businesses operated at this level of service."
"You absolutely get the best customer-service award of the month!"
"A while back you had asked for feedback on your latest kit [Tranquility]. At the time I hadn't started it. It is complete now and is surely a conversation piece with anyone who sees it. The kit and instructions were great. . . . All in all a great looking piece, everyone loves it. . . . This was the second kit from you, I have the Legacy as well. Thanks for another satisfying project."
"Hi Jeff, we've finally put the clock together and it is in pride of place in our Garden Room getting lots of admiring comments from family and friends. We chose to paint the hands dark red to match in with our accent colour scheme. Thank you for your customer care."
"Thanks for a great clock, I really enjoyed making it."
"You really outdid your self with the design of that [Tranquility] clock, it is in my opinion, a work of Art!!!"
"It is a fascinating clock, and I'm very glad I got it. When I received that flat package, I could not believe it had all the necessary parts, but it did. I look forward to doing another one."
"Got the spool parts and I thank you for the wonderful customer service you have provided me. The old spool that I glued back together has been working great and the clock has ran with no issues for 3 days and is keeping time very well. What an amazing clock. I'm gonna be sad giving it away as it was meant for a X-Mass gift. I feel like I've created a relationship with this clock. 🙂 Anyhow thanks for everything and I'm sure I'll be ordering another here soon. "
"I just wanted to thank you for making your clock plans available. . . . I decided to attempt my first wooden clock. I was very much taken with the elegance of your Tranquilty clock and a deciding factor between different designs was that it would run for 24 Hours plus on a single ‘wind’. . . . Thanks to your design the clock went together easily, adjustment of pallet entry was simple and the clock was adjusted to come ‘on beat’ very quickly. . . .The clock has been running beautifully for a few weeks now. How appropriate that you named the design Tranquility for this clock does not ‘tick tock’ but just makes the gentlest of sounds as the pallets return to their stops. I had great fun building it and hoped that I would end up with an elegant piece of kinetic art. That has happened, and it is difficult to pass by it in the hall without stopping for a moment to watch the grasshopper motion, but I confess that I was not expecting it to keep time so accurately. As mentioned on the video clip it is currently within a minute over a 24 hour period!"
"My Dad made your Ascent clock. When I was a child he made many clocks, and he and a friend use to collect antique clocks. Anyway when I come to visit him on the weekends I love to watch your Ascent clock run and hear the slow relaxing ticking. He told me that he learned more about how clocks work building your clock than all the other clocks he has made."
